Brandywine, Saint Mark’s, and Concord all earned straight-set home victories in the opening round of the 2018 Delaware High School Boys Volleyball Championship.

No. 6 Concord punched their ticket to Thursday’s quarterfinals with a 3-0 victory over A.I. duPont, No. 7 Brandywine swept Mount Pleasant, while Saint Mark’s used a 25-8 first set to help run Dickinson in three sets.

All three teams will be in action during Thursday’s second round:  Concord will travel to No. 3 Indian River, Brandywine also heads south to face Delmarva Christian, while St. Mark’s earns a rematch with rival Salesianum. No. 4 Conrad and No. 5 Charter will meet in the other quarterfinal.

The semifinals are set for Monday, with the championship match on Wednesday May 23 at Saint Mark’s.
