I-FBS Ball State - William Penn Defensive End Frank Burton III’s research assignment has come to an end. The 2014 Delaware High School Football Lineman of the Year announced on Twitter Saturday night he intends to sign with Division I-FBS Ball State for his collegiate career. Burton helped lead William Penn to the 2014 Division I Football Title with 95 tackles (19 for loss), 6.5 sacks, and 12 quarterback hurries.   • Mt. Pleasant wins close game against William Penn - Mount Pleasant showed great resilience Saturday afternoon as they defeated William Penn, 57-54 to remain undefeated. The Green Knights sat starters Raheim Burnett, Robert Myrick, and SeiQuann Kearney in the first quarter. Junior Ronald Shipman-Scott turned in a big performance in their absence. The long-standing Flight A rivalry saw Newark take a 9-8 lead after the opening quarter when Jimmy Bond drove the lane for a layup just before the buzzer.
