The Tigers boys’ volleyball squad extended their win streak to four Tuesday afternoon with a win in straight sets against Dickinson at home – 25-16, 25-10, 25,17.

Following a win in set one, A.I. kept the pressure on in the second. Senior Collin Coyne began the set with a an ace that skimmed the top of the net and found the floor. A 9-0 run late in the set allowed the Tigers to pull away for the easy victory.


Dickinson got off to a hot start in the third, running off six of the first nine points. The score remained tied at 12-12, but the Tigers finished strong with a 13-5 run to end the match.

Shaun Yeager saved on of his best kills for the last point of the game, finishing with six. Tyler Daniels led all players with 19 digs for A.I.

The Tigers (4-2) will play Salesianum Wednesday at 4 p.m. Dickinson (1-7) will travel to Newport to take on Conrad Wednesday at 4 p.m.
