Welcome into’s plays of the week.

Loads of DIAA action this week between track meets, tournaments, and don’t forget about the boys volleyball state tourney.

Officially our oldest participant in plays of the week with Appo’s Coach Timpson getting some screentime, real hero right there is Madeline Olivas for getting the shaving cream camera-ready.

10 – Caesar Rodney’s Rishi Gunakaram gets a big match-ending lob shot for another Rider title this year.

9 – Salesianum’s Josh Elliot goes up top for a big kill in the state tournament championship.

8 – Caravel’s Jamison Young show’s off a wicked shot against Archmere on the road.

7 – St. Mark’s Kendra Shweizer stands tall on the crease for a big goal versus Ursuline.

6 – Delmar Softball turns a stellar 4-6-3 double play on the road versus Appo.

5 – Appo returns the favor and gets Autumn Gentry out of a sticky wituation in their first second round victory in school history.

4 – Ursuline’s Maxine String gets a classic one-timer versus St. Mark’s.

3 – Dover’s Victoria Anyanwu makes a drop shot play dead while wrapping up the singles title on the court.

2 – Archmere’s Nolan Collins has a knack for making top plays and with the Sean Kelly assist, what Archmere called “the old 7-11”, put one from ground to ear to net.

1 – Smyrna’s Abigail Mace had a colossal final two games of the DIAA tournament racking up 3 homeruns for 7 RBI and the Eagle’s first softball state title in 25 years.

No viewer submissions this week with only one more spot available next week.
