William Penn won their 15th game of the year on Tuesday night defeating Glasgow 59-57 in Overtime.
The Colonials would score first, and we’d be tied at 5 a bit later.
However, Glasgow would dominate the rest of the quarter and lead 18-9 after one.
In the second quarter, William Penn would chip away at trhe lead hitting 4 three-pointers including two by Jordan Harding late. The Colonials would trail by two after two.
Early in the thrid, Glasgow would push the lead back to 7 at 32-25 and 34-27 before William Penn cut into the lead again.
Eric Hicks would hit a short jumper just before the buzzer and the Colonials would be down just three after three.
William Penn would take a lead early in the fourth at 41-40 with 4 straight free throws to start the quarter.
We would alternate leads most of the rest of the quarter until William Penn took a 3 point lead late.
Glasgow’s Mark Bradshaw would tie the game at 51 with a three-pointer with 5.8 seconds left, sending the game to Overtime.
In overtime, Glasgow would take a lead and William Penn would tie it. This would be the pattern until we got to 57-57.
The Colonials would hit two free throws late and win by two.
William Penn’s Jordan Harding had 19. Terin Cochran had 16.
Glasgow was led by Devin McDowell and Mark Bradshaw who each had 16.
